The comprehensive project, aimed at addressing parking, sports, and judicial needs, has been awarded to the Temporary Business Union formed by Vialterra Infraestructuras S. A. and Urbasur Actividades y Servicios S. L. The final budget amounts to 48,766,872 euros, a reduction from the initially projected 50.8 million.
The project includes the creation of 1,070 parking spaces spread across three underground levels, expanding the current sports facility's area to 14,500 square meters. The new Santa Fe Stadium will feature a football pitch, a covered hockey hall, a volleyball hall, and a multifunctional room, along with changing rooms and other common facilities.
The new judicial headquarters, with a separate entrance and an area exceeding 7,000 square meters, will consolidate all judicial services currently dispersed throughout the municipality, providing a definitive solution to the existing "precarious" and "obsolete" facilities.
The mayor, Ana Mula, highlighted the significance of these three projects for the city, emphasizing that they address "imperative needs" and will substantially improve municipal infrastructure and services.
