The FreakCon festival commemorates its tenth anniversary in Torremolinos from May 22 to 24, 2026, presenting its most ambitious edition with an extended three-day program and over 600 hours of activities.

The Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Torremolinos will be the epicenter of this event, which has established itself as one of the most important entertainment gatherings in the country. The organization has confirmed that this edition will exceed 600 hours of programming, covering concerts, contests, talks, video games, exhibitions, immersive experiences, and themed areas for all ages.
More than 60 national and international guests will participate in the festival, reinforcing its global dimension. Among the prominent names are a renowned actor from popular series, a Japanese artist, a French cosplayer, and a Spanish-Japanese singer. The national lineup will also include various creators and artists from the sector.

"If every day of the year we are paradise, from May 22 to 24 we become the paradise for the thousands of followers attracted by pop culture, anime, comics, video games, and, in general, digital creation."

As a new feature, FreakCon will kick off with a special day on Friday, May 22, starting at 5:00 PM with the K-Pop Fest, a pre-party dedicated to Korean pop culture that will officially open the festival. The event will also maintain its commitment to the creative industry and emerging talent, offering spaces dedicated to video game development, cosplay, illustration, digital content, and new audiovisual narratives.
The official presentation of the event was attended by the mayor of Torremolinos, the provincial deputy, and the territorial delegate for Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía, along with representatives from the organization. The organization emphasizes that FreakCon aims to continue growing as a national benchmark for contemporary pop culture and as a tourist, economic, and cultural driver for Andalucía. The festival has the institutional backing of the Torremolinos City Council, the Málaga Provincial Council, and the Junta de Andalucía, in addition to support from various firms linked to leisure, technology, and the cultural industry.
