For three days, the Costa del Sol will witness this popular event, which is a scoring round for the Spanish Hill Climb Championship, the Andalusian Championship, the Andalusian Car-Cross Cup, and the Malaga Provincial Cup. Additionally, the event will host the Champions Hill Climb, where top drivers from each autonomous community will compete.
Organizers have emphasized that the race maintains its reputation as one of the toughest and most anticipated in the country. Estepona's Town Hall has confirmed the participation of approximately a dozen local drivers across the various categories.
Among the names to watch this year is Christian Broberg, who marks a decade since his first competition in the race. Over these ten years, Broberg has established himself as one of the country's most competitive drivers. For this edition, he returns with a significant technical evolution: the Wolf Mistral, a prototype designed to enhance both safety and aerodynamics.
Festivities will commence on Friday with technical checks in the afternoon, followed by an opening ceremony at 9 PM where drivers and teams will be introduced. On Saturday, the MA-8301 road will close at 11:30 AM, with the first official practice session starting at 1 PM, followed by two race runs. On Sunday, the road will close again at 7:30 AM, with the second practice session at 9 AM and the final two races. The weekend will conclude with a trophy ceremony starting at 2:30 PM at the Avenida Los Reales roundabout.
