The project, which has been carried out over a period of four months, is in its final stages and is expected to conclude in the coming weeks. This initiative has covered a total area of 1,841 square meters, significantly transforming the urban environment.
Among the improvements made are the complete renewal of the paving and the installation of new urban furniture, contributing to the modernization and beautification of the space. Furthermore, a comprehensive upgrade of the underground infrastructure has been undertaken.
The works included the replacement of sanitation and water supply networks, as well as the optimization of the rainwater collection system through new connections and drains. This intervention ensures greater efficiency and durability of public services.
A notable aspect of this renovation is the consideration for the needs of users of the Aprona Foundation, aiming to create a more accessible, comfortable, and inclusive space for people with functional diversity. Additionally, ornamental and functional elements such as green areas, a fountain, and a drinking fountain have been added, enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
This initiative joins other modernization efforts promoted by the City Council, such as the recent renovation of the Plaza de la Constitución, which involved an investment exceeding 110,000 euros to improve its hydraulic system, paving, ornamental lighting, and the children's play area.
