The deputy mayor of Las Lagunas, Eloy Belmonte, visited one of the training sessions to assess the team's progress, welcome the new players, and reaffirm the Mijas City Council's support. Belmonte highlighted the pride the club's achievement brings to the town and municipality, calling it a "magnificent example" for young athletes.
The team will play a friendly match against Xerez Deportivo FC this Saturday at the Chapín stadium, another opportunity to evaluate their development. Club president José Manuel Quero emphasized the "very united, hardworking, disciplined, and family-like atmosphere" within the locker room, noting the good adaptation of new players and collective commitment.
Head coach José Antonio García expressed satisfaction with the squad, deeming it "very balanced" with diverse profiles to handle various competitive scenarios. The objective is to assimilate concepts and gain match minutes for the league start.
