This educational facility, located within the Casares Environmental Complex, which was previously exclusively for schools, will now welcome neighborhood, cultural, and sports associations, senior centers, and other organized groups from the region.
“"The perspective is that environmental education should not be limited to schoolchildren. It is fundamental that associations, families, seniors, or sports entities learn firsthand how waste management works and what role each citizen plays in correct separation and recycling."
The main goal of this initiative is to demonstrate, in an engaging and accessible way, the complete journey of waste, from its deposit in containers to its recovery and final treatment. The facilities include a virtual reality room, an interactive area with games and educational activities, and a guided bus tour of the Environmental Complex, led by specialized staff.
Visits to the Environmental Classroom last approximately two hours and are designed to suit different participant profiles, with a maximum capacity of 40 people per group.
