The incident took place around 3:30 PM, according to official sources. Initial investigations suggest the first collision was between the horse-drawn carriage and the delivery van. As a result of the impact, the carriage overturned to one side, hitting a motorcycle that was traveling on the road.
The fall of the motorcycle caused its rider to be injured. The 112 Emergency Service confirmed that the victim required medical attention, although the extent of her injuries has not been determined. Eyewitnesses alerted paramedics and assisted in removing the vehicles from the road.
The horse pulling the carriage also fell onto the road but managed to get back on its feet with the help of the driver and others present.
