The weekend concluded in Cordoba with unstable skies and the presence of rain, a constant during the initial days of the Cordoba Patios Festival. Despite this, thousands of visitors have explored the city's most emblematic neighborhoods. The festival is nearing its final stretch, and attention is focused on the weather to ensure enjoyment during the second week of the event, as precipitation continues to be a threat.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts a low chance of rain for Monday, with skies gradually clearing to reveal sunshine. However, instability will return on Tuesday with scattered showers and a 50% probability of precipitation, alternating with sunny periods that will allow continued visits to the patios.
The trend of intermittent rain will persist on Wednesday, with a slight improvement and rain probabilities dropping to 40% in the morning and 20% in the afternoon. Carrying an umbrella is advised, though the sun will also make an appearance. Thursday is expected to be the most unstable day of the week, with a precipitation probability close to 75%, although no intense storms are anticipated like those of the previous weekend.
Towards Friday and Saturday, the chance of rain will significantly decrease to 10%, suggesting a rain-free weekend. Nevertheless, skies will be somewhat cloudier. Saturday, unlike the previous one, is expected to feature a combination of sun and clouds, bringing more stability in the middle of May and a week before the Cordoba Fair. Temperatures will remain stable throughout the week, with highs between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius and lows not dropping below nine degrees, reflecting a typical spring and changeable climate for the season in the city.
