The Estrella Music Band will participate for the second consecutive year in the Corpus Christi procession in Córdoba, an event organized by the Cathedral Chapter. The musical ensemble will perform marches during the solemn procession scheduled for next Thursday, June 4th.
The procession will be led by the Nuestra Señora de la Salud band of bugles and drums, which also participated in the previous year's event. These agreements, signed by the canon precentor-chapel master, Antonio Murillo, aim to enrich one of the most significant celebrations in the liturgical calendar.
The Cathedral Chapter emphasized that these agreements state: «we reaffirm our support for traditional music and culture, enriching one of the greatest days in our liturgical calendar».
This year's procession returns to its traditional Thursday date, coinciding with the visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain, thus finalizing the details of the celebration.
