Marital separations in the province of Córdoba have seen a 53.9% decrease over the past ten years, effectively halving. In 2025, 53 legal separations were registered, compared to 115 in 2016, representing 62 fewer cases.
Concurrently, divorces also show a downward trend, albeit more moderate. Over the last decade, divorces have decreased by 14.3%, falling from 1,473 cases in 2016 to 1,261 in 2025. In total, there have been 212 fewer dissolutions through divorce than a decade ago.
The downward trend has continued into the last year. Between 2024 and 2025, separations dropped by 38.3% (from 86 to 53 cases), while divorces decreased by 7.1% (from 1,358 to 1,261 cases).
Marriage annulments, due to their legal complexity, are very rare. In 2025, no annulments were recorded in the province of Córdoba, compared to two in 2021 and one in 2016.
