The incident, footage of which has been widely shared on social media and messaging groups, involved two young individuals who threw objects, including a metal stool, at the stand. The stall vendors defended themselves, and threatening shouts were heard during the altercation.
Sources from the Comisaría have confirmed that the National Police responded to the scene. However, no arrests were made, and to date, no formal complaints have been filed. The exact motive behind the fight remains unknown.
This event contrasts with the relative calm of the Monday of the Fair, a day typically characterized by being quieter. Nevertheless, Monday did see three arrests and six police interventions for fights within the fairgrounds. Two of the apprehended individuals had prior judicial warrants, while the third was arrested by the Local Police for domestic abuse.
Throughout Monday and until Tuesday morning, the National Police conducted 138 identifications and issued 54 citations for violations of the Citizen Security Law at the fairgrounds.
