Pablo Ordóñez (Mengíbar, March 25, 2002) thus becomes the third reinforcement for the 'blanquiverde' team. The player, originally from Mengíbar, has international experience in all categories, including the senior team, and was crowned U-19 European champion in 2022.
He comes from Jaén Paraíso Interior, the club where he trained for seven seasons and joined their first team in the summer of 2025. This will be his second consecutive loan spell, having played last season for Heredia 21 Málaga Ciudad Redonda FS, a 2nd Division team where he scored 14 goals.
“"I am very satisfied to join such an ambitious project as Córdoba Patrimonio. Whenever I have played there, I have experienced an incredible atmosphere. Joining a team established in the league will allow me to exploit my qualities and reach my best level. Furthermore, we have a coach who will give us a lot of freedom, especially offensively."
The player from Mengíbar expressed his satisfaction at joining an ambitious project and highlighted the club's atmosphere, as well as the offensive freedom promised by the coach. He believes the team's established position in the league will allow him to develop his full potential.
For his part, David Fernández, the sporting director, spoke very positively about the signing, describing Ordóñez as "a different, unpredictable player, very good in transition and decisive due to his stature and technical quality." He referred to him as "one of the great pearls on the national scene," combining "the hunger of his youth with the experience of having played for major clubs." Fernández also noted the player's versatility, mentioning he could be used as a pivot if needed.
