Coto Córdoba, after securing its promotion to Primera FEB this weekend, has begun a series of institutional meetings. The team, coaching staff, and board of directors were received at the Córdoba Provincial Council by its president, Salvador Fuentes, and the Sports Delegate of Córdoba, Antonio Martín.
During the event, Salvador Fuentes praised the involvement of the club's main sponsor, highlighting their crucial role in enabling the team to achieve its goals. The president of the Provincial Council also reiterated the institution's commitment to providing financial support to the entity for the upcoming season, emphasizing the importance of a solid budget for the club's professional development.
“"We are going to conquer the world and we are going to be there. The team has to act and function as a professional club. If it wants to earn more merit, it has to change and continue progressing as an organization; and for that, it needs a budget."
The president of the Provincial Council stressed that public resources would be allocated to support this project, considering it an example for new generations of basketball players in Córdoba. He also thanked the entire Coto Córdoba family for their contribution to positioning the province in elite basketball, assuring the institution's support both in difficult times and in successes.
For his part, the president of Coto Córdoba, Rafael Blanco, expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the Provincial Council throughout the season, calling it the first institutional celebration visit. He emphasized the need for a substantial budget to meet the club's future challenges. The team's coach, Gonzalo Rodríguez, expressed his honor in representing Córdoba across Spain and thanked the institutions for their long-term vision for the project.
