The initiative, titled Same party. Same respect, aims to promote responsible leisure free from violence. According to the Equality department, the goal is to combat sexist behaviors that are often exacerbated by the festive atmosphere and excess.
The action plan is structured around three main pillars: a media and social network awareness campaign, the implementation of a specific action protocol for leisure spaces, and the distribution of information materials. This protocol is designed to be accessible in booths and information points, facilitating coordination with police and health services.
“"Prevention is only effective when citizens know the protocols and know how to apply them."
Key measures include the distribution of thousands of informative items, such as bracelets, fans, and stickers with QR codes linking to help lines. Additionally, specific guidelines have been included to detect and act in cases of chemical submission, a reality that requires a rapid and coordinated response.
Finally, the provincial institution noted that it continues to provide 30 support tents for events to municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants. Through these actions, the Cordoba Provincial Council reaffirms its commitment to eradicating violence and promoting equality throughout the province.
