These awards, framed within the institution's LGTBI Transversal Plan, distinguish individuals, groups, entities, or institutions in the province that have stood out for their work in defending the diversity and plurality of sexual orientations and identities.

The awards are granted in various categories, including the economic, socio-educational, sports, arts and culture fields, and for the best awareness initiative in public administration. Each category has an economic endowment of 1,000 euros, totaling 6,000 euros, with the possibility of extending up to an additional 3,000 euros if an award is shared.
Additionally, the Ejemplo Ser Quien Soy award is granted, an honorary recognition for the work of individuals, groups, entities, or institutions that have excelled in the fight for the visibility and promotion of LGTBI rights. This award's scope is not limited to the province of Córdoba and can be granted posthumously.
Adult individuals, groups, entities, or institutions, both public and private, who contribute to the objectives of the call, can apply for these awards. Candidacies can be proposed by any individual or entity, but self-nomination is not permitted. The deadline for submitting applications is May 25 and can be done electronically or in person at the General Registry of the Provincial Council.
