The exhibition, which began last April 15 coinciding with World Art Day, is integrated into a network of collaborating neighborhood spaces and promotes the connection between art, community, and territory under the concept 'Córdoba Collection 2026-Painting the Invisible City'.
The artist, Juanjo Garlo, explains that 'Alma de Córdoba' does not seek a faithful representation of urban landscapes but rather to capture their essence: the memory, light, silence, and energy that reside in its streets. The project stems from the artist's direct experience of walking, observing, and feeling the city, using painting as a language to reveal the place's invisible identity.
“"I don't paint what is seen of Córdoba, but what remains in it: its memory, its energy, and its invisible soul."
The exhibition is presented in an unconventional setting, merging art and gastronomy at A Fuego Brasería. During the exhibition, live painting sessions are held, allowing the public to witness the artist's creative process and fostering a direct encounter between work, creator, and spectator.
This initiative, promoted by the collective Artistas por Córdoba Cultura y Arte, marks the beginning of a cycle of individual exhibitions that aim to showcase the work of its members while promoting art as a shared experience in public space.
