The incident occurred when officers from the Road Safety Investigation Unit of the Traffic Subsector recognized the applicant. The agents, who were traveling in a police vehicle, observed the individual arriving at the facility while driving the car directly in front of them.

The driver was at the location to take the theoretical exam required to regain his driving privileges after having lost all his assigned points.

The Civil Guard reminded the public that driving a motor vehicle without a license, due to the loss of its validity, is a crime under Article 384 of the Criminal Code. This offense is punishable by three to six months in prison, fines of twelve to twenty-four months, or community service.

Authorities emphasized the danger of such behavior, noting that using illegal means to obtain or recover a license poses a serious risk to road safety, as it fails to verify that the driver possesses the necessary qualifications to operate a vehicle.
