The electoral process will begin with the opening of the candidacy submission period on June 1, which will run until July 1. Subsequently, on July 2, 3, and 4, the acceptance or rejection of candidacies will take place, and the electoral board will publish its resolution on July 5.

The current Grand Master, whose term has lasted four years, has overseen significant milestones for the brotherhood. These include its canonical erection as a full brotherhood in February 2024, the first procession of the Lord in 2024, the incorporation of two figures into the mystery float, and the planned implementation of Nazarene robes in the procession for 2025. Additionally, the brotherhood has joined the Association of Brotherhoods, and its Marian titular will participate in the Great Holy Week Procession of 2025.

Regarding new additions, on the Saturday of Passion in 2026, the Lord wore for the first time a robe embroidered in gold on purple velvet, created by Sergio Arroba Alonso and donated by a group of brothers. Meanwhile, the Virgin of Hope's canopy float featured newly restored poles, along with the reupholstering and new embroidery of the respiraderos, designed by Miguel Ortiz and executed by the brotherhood's own workshop.
