Córdoba's aquatic ecosystems are in an optimal state following a winter of intense rainfall. This situation is crucial for local biodiversity, as spring is a fundamental season for the reproduction of species inhabiting these areas.
“"The lagoons currently show an optimal level because an average of almost 700 liters per square meter has fallen in this hydrological year."
The rains have allowed the recharge of aquifers feeding lagoons such as Zóñar, Amarga, and Rincón. Additionally, seasonal lagoons, including Tíscar, Jarales, and Salobral, have also significantly benefited from this increase in water volume.
