Following the appeals period, the number of admitted spaces in the competition has been set at 33, an increase from the provisional list. The main change is the inclusion of the location at Juan Rufo, 20, which was initially excluded.
Conversely, two locations previously on the provisional list, Pastora, 5 and Puerta del Rincón, 2 8º-2, will not participate in the contest. The event is solidifying its position as a key highlight of the city's May Festivities, enhancing the beauty of the historic quarter with floral facade decorations.
The jury will evaluate various aspects, including overall aesthetics, the type and longevity of the floral decoration, the quality of the wrought ironwork, and the visual impact of the ensemble on the facade. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top six entries, with a first prize of 900 euros, and participation awards ranging from 400 to 500 euros.
The previous edition in 2025 saw 30 participating spaces, underscoring the growing interest and consolidation of this contest as a fundamental part of Córdoba's floral tradition.
