This new entity will act as a one-stop shop to provide comprehensive support to municipalities. Its main task will be to take on technical oversight and institutional mediation to optimize industrial environments, aiming to make them more competitive and capable of attracting new investments.
The province currently has 182 industrial estates covering over 31 million square meters and hosting more than 3,000 companies. Following a technical analysis, the institution has identified eight strategic development axes, including areas such as the A-45, the Pozoblanco agri-food hub, and the area surrounding the Army Logistics Base.
The goal is to organize and plan productive spaces to generate an exponential increase in the province's development capacity.
Meanwhile, the Regional Government of Andalusia has confirmed that the application period for grants linked to the Law on Productive Spaces, worth 50 million euros, will open on June 16. These funds will allow for improvements in energy infrastructure, roads, security, and waste management in Andalusian business parks.
Both provincial and regional administrations have highlighted the need to resolve structural deficits in electrical infrastructure, a problem that particularly affects the northern area of Córdoba and requires coordinated planning with the Government of Spain.
