The resolution, signed by delegate councilor Julián Urbano, is based on the reports from the Technical Evaluation Commission and compliance with the regulatory guidelines, which were approved last October.
According to the edict accessed by this newspaper, 32 grilles and balconies have been provisionally admitted to compete in the event. Participants are distributed across various areas of the city, including both private owners and entities.
Regarding exclusions, the provisional list includes three rejected applications for various reasons. Administrative deficiencies, such as the absence of Form 145 or third-party registration, were identified. Furthermore, the ornamental aspect was a key factor in the exclusion of two of these spaces, located on Pastora and Puerta del Rincón streets, due to an “insufficient quantity and quality of the exhibited flora.”
In these specific cases, the Technical Commission has announced that it will conduct a new visit once the appeals period concludes to verify if these shortcomings have been rectified.
Following the publication of this edict on the Electronic Headquarters Notice Board, a 10-working-day period is now open for applicants to submit appeals or rectify the issues that led to their exclusion. Interested parties can consult the full resolution on the electronic board, the official website of the Córdoba City Council, and in this newspaper.
