The town of Benamejí, in the province of Córdoba, was one of the most affected by the rainfall, accumulating 25.4 liters per square meter. Other locations in Andalusia also recorded notable amounts of rain, such as Rincón de la Victoria and Vélez-Málaga (Málaga), with 20.2 and 19.4 liters respectively, and Málaga airport with 18.5 liters.
During the meteorological phenomenon, approximately 900 cloud-to-ground lightning strikes were recorded in the provinces of Granada, Málaga, and Córdoba, according to a spokesperson for the Aemet Meteorological Center in Málaga. The Hidrosur network of the Junta de Andalucía also reported rainfall data in the Mijas mountains (Málaga) and in Alcaucín (Málaga), as well as in Padul (Granada).
The 112 emergency service handled isolated reports of flooding in Málaga and Granada, including a house patio in La Zubia (Granada), with no personal injuries reported. Atmospheric instability is expected to continue throughout the day, with a yellow alert activated by Aemet in much of Andalucía, except for Huelva.

In addition to the storm, numerous videos shared on social media show the intense lightning and flashes that illuminated the sky. On the same early morning, citizens across much of Andalucía also felt a magnitude 5 earthquake with its epicenter in Alhendín (Granada).
