This exhibition, which can be visited at the Foundation's Espacio Gala, located on Calle Ambrosio de Morales, showcases the work of the first cohort of artists from the Cuenca Center for Contemporary Creators (4C). The exhibition was initially inaugurated in December at Casa Zavala in Cuenca and now makes its way to Córdoba.
The participating artists include Fran Baena, Ilaria Cutolo, Perla T. Alejo R., Lucía Tello, Marina Íñiguez, María Góngora, and María Tenoury Díaz. Their works, diverse in style and material, delve into themes such as intimacy, memory, and recollections, offering a profound insight into their creative processes.
The title 'Donde brota la luz' comes from a phrase by Antonio Gala, in which the writer speaks of the act of creation, of the power of that moment when the work appears before its author like light emerging from darkness.
The exhibition marks the first exchange of works produced in the two artistic residencies managed by the Antonio Gala Foundation, thus strengthening a cultural bridge between Córdoba and Cuenca. Art enthusiasts can enjoy this artistic proposal until May 17.
