The provincial institution thus reaffirms its commitment to Córdoba's cultural fabric, boosting activities in its municipalities and ensuring the preservation and dissemination of cultural, historical, educational, and literary heritage, thereby contributing to the conservation of the territory's identity.
The president of the Council, Salvador Fuentes, accompanied by the Delegate for Culture, Gabriel Duque, explained that these contributions recognize the work of the collaborating entities. Fuentes emphasized the importance of increasing cultural budgets, stating that "supporting culture means we must have critical capacity, freedom, and that, from a very early age, the talent in all disciplines must be developed."
Among the agreements is one signed with the Orchestra of Córdoba Consortium for a provincial tour of educational concerts and the 'La Reciclorquesta' training activity, which will bring symphonic music and musical education to various municipalities, promoting values linked to sustainability. The provincial president described this alliance as "strategic and consolidated" for disseminating culture and bringing symphonic programming to municipalities far from major urban centers.
An agreement was also formalized with the Record Association for the 2026 Film Campus, Cinema26, and the 5th Córdoba Film Week, aiming to boost the audiovisual sector and establish the city as a reference point for film creation.
Collaboration with the Ateneo de Córdoba will focus on cultural projects, excursions, and awards for prominent figures in the cultural sphere, including initiatives like 'Fiambreras y Jacobinos'.
The Council renews its collaboration with the Manuel Álvarez Ortega Foundation for the 'Literary Immersion' project, aimed at highlighting the figure of the Cordoban writer. Additionally, an agreement was formalized with the Antonio Gala Foundation for the development of its cultural activities in the province during 2026, with a special focus on his theatrical works. The director of the Antonio Gala Foundation, José María Gala, stressed the importance of the collaboration in bringing these activities to "each of the towns, each of the regions of the province."
Finally, collaboration will occur with the La Tribu Educa Cultural Association for the project 'The School of Yesteryear: Memories of the Future,' focused on recovering historical-educational heritage and transmitting collective memory.
Gabriel Duque highlighted that the agreements cover "all cultural fields, including literature, cinema, visual arts, and music, among others." Salvador Fuentes concluded that the Provincial Council continues to support diverse, accessible, and territory-unifying cultural programming, backing entities crucial for heritage conservation and the promotion of arts and cultural opportunities throughout the province.
