The Rosario Valpuesta Association, in collaboration with the Carmona Movement for the Feminization of Private Law, the publisher Tirant Lo Blanch, and the Provincial Council of Seville, has launched the tenth edition of the Rosario Valpuesta Research Award. This initiative aims to foster the analysis of the work and research areas developed by the professor and first rector of the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO).
Studies submitted for this call must focus on the feminization of private law; legal and social studies with a gender equality perspective; and Human Rights, particularly from a critical theory standpoint. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2027.
Researchers between the ages of 18 and 45, as of January 1, 2026, are eligible to participate. The winning work will receive a cash prize of 3,300 euros, a certificate of recognition, and will be published by Tirant lo Blanch. Submissions must be original and unpublished. The jury's decision will be announced in March 2027.
The Rosario Valpuesta Association, chaired by Fátima Giráldez Valpuesta, was founded in 2014 under the motto ‘Equal in difference’. Its mission is to preserve and disseminate the memory, thought, and legacy of Rosario Valpuesta, promoting education in human rights and feminism, especially among young people and women.
