The program, with a total investment of 9.77 million euros, is financed 85% by the European Social Fund Plus (FSE+) and 15% by the Seville City Council itself. The initiative plans for the participation of 1305 individuals in 87 training pathways, lasting between three and nine months, all linked to official professional certifications.
The delegate for Employment, José Luis García, highlighted the importance of this call, stating that "with this sixth Éfeso Sevilla call, we continue to bet on training linked to professional certifications as a tool for the labor market integration of individuals facing greater difficulties in accessing employment. We are not just talking about courses, but complete pathways so that unemployed people can improve their qualifications, gain experience in companies, and move closer to employment."
Level 1 pathways, aimed at individuals with no formal education or only basic schooling, include specialties such as catering preparation and assembly assistant, waiter assistant, cleaning staff, vehicle electromechanics, bodywork and painting, supermarket restocking, room attendant, or courier and delivery services. Level 2 pathways, for those with a secondary school diploma (ESO) or equivalent qualification, focus on the care of dependent individuals in institutions. Training will be provided in morning shifts (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM) or afternoon shifts (4:00 PM to 9:00 PM).
These training programs include company internships, personalized tutoring, individual guidance, and transversal skills training. Additionally, the program provides scholarships of 13.45 euros per day of attendance, aiming to facilitate participation for those facing greater challenges in accessing training and the job market.
The application period will be open from September 7 to September 18, 2026, until 11:59 PM. The training for the pathways in this call is expected to begin around the end of October 2026.
Applications can be submitted online, preferably, without requiring an electronic certificate, Cl@ve, or electronic DNI, through the municipal website. They can also be submitted at the General Registry and Auxiliary Registries of the Seville City Council.
Eligibility for these pathways includes being unemployed and over 16 years old, registered as a resident in Seville (and in disadvantaged areas for specific pathways), registered as an unemployed job seeker with the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE), and meeting the minimum qualification requirements for each pathway level. Pathways targeting groups with greater insertion difficulties are also reserved for long-term unemployed individuals, those over 45 (especially women), people with disabilities of 33% or more, nationals of third countries or of foreign origin, members of minorities, and individuals in vulnerable situations.
