The Mairena del Aljarafe Fair will commence on Wednesday, June 24, and conclude on Sunday, June 28. For five days, the fairgrounds will transform into a festive space offering local gastronomy, horse parades, and various free performances.
Organizers have prioritized accessibility with a free bus service connecting key points of the municipality to the fairgrounds. The traditional "Children's Day" will feature reduced prices on attractions and a noise-free hour for individuals with acoustic hypersensitivity.
The main stage will host free-entry performances each night. On Wednesday, June 24, the traditional "Alumbrado" (lighting ceremony) will officially open the festivities. On Saturday, June 27, the internationally recognized group Gente de Zona will perform Latin rhythms. The musical closing on Sunday, June 28, will feature the Andalusian artistry of Alejandro Bejarano and the fresh sound of Triana Joven.
The grand finale of the 2026 Fair will be groundbreaking, replacing traditional fireworks with a spectacular drone show. A total of 150 aircraft will illuminate Mairena's sky, displaying three visual scenes designed exclusively around the theme and concept of "La Feria del Encuentro".
This innovative closing event, a substitute for traditional pyrotechnics, aims to protect individuals with auditory sensitivity and animals. The display of 150 drones will present three thematic visual scenes under the concept "La Feria del Encuentro," offering a modern and distinct conclusion to the celebration.
The fair presents a unique opportunity to enjoy entertainment and folklore in the heart of the Aljarafe region, just a short distance from the provincial capital.
