Contemporary Sevillian artist Ana Langeheldt has been officially designated by the Seville City Council to create the poster for the 2027 Seville Spring Festivals.

The Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, and the Delegate for Major Festivals, Manuel Alés, received the artist at the City Hall to formalize this pictorial commission. The institutional meeting underscores the municipal government's support for the local artistic community and aims to promote the excellence of the city's major events.
Mayor Sanz highlighted Langeheldt's "technical solvency and versatility," stating that her designation aligns with the objective of "placing the poster art for our Major Festivals in the hands of established artists who represent the talent, vanguard, and excellence of contemporary Sevillian painting."
Sanz emphasized that the 2027 poster will enhance the Andalusian capital's international image, considering the Spring Festivals as "our main presentation to the world." He asserted that entrusting their imagery to a Sevillian artist with "such local roots and recognition beyond our borders" guarantees a unique work, worthy of the artistic level Seville deserves.
The aesthetic continuity in the posters aims to enrich Seville's artistic heritage. Following valuable contributions from artists like Antoine Cas, the Daroal workshop, and Daniel Franca, the "free, rigorous, and cosmopolitan vision" of Langeheldt is incorporated, capable of connecting urban language and studio painting with the city's sentiment.
Ana Langeheldt Marín, born in Seville in 1978, holds a degree in Fine Arts and is recognized as a pioneer of muralism and urban art in Spain. She has over two decades of continuous experience in painting, illustration, and public space intervention.
Her work has received distinctions such as the Diploma of Honor from the LI Autumn Exhibition of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Santa Isabel de Hungría and first prizes in the Seville City Council's Youth Creation Contest. She has participated in international festivals in France, Belgium, and the United States.
In Seville, she presented the solo exhibition "Ya estuvo allí, sé cómo acaba" and created heritage interventions like the "Dos océanos" mural. She was the author of the poster for the 16th Seville European Film Festival (SEFF 2019), and her works have been commissioned by brands such as Christian Dior and Cruzcampo.
