The City Council of Alcalá de Guadaíra, through the Department of Urban Habitat, will carry out the installation of a new children's play area in the square next to the Antonio Medina de Haro Civic Center. This action responds to neighborhood requests to improve children's recreational spaces.
The municipal delegate for Urban Habitat, David Delgado, explained that the work will include the installation of new play equipment, continuous rubber safety surfacing, supply and installation of signage, and the perimeter fencing of the safety area.
Delgado highlighted the importance of these recreational areas for children's development, stating that "children's play areas promote the learning of new motor and social skills for boys and girls, thus becoming essential infrastructure for autonomy and the enjoyment of activities in a controlled and safe environment that benefits the development of the youngest ones."
This new children's play area complements the renovation of the Civic Center and the future Local Police Headquarters, thus completing an area of the city destined to be a hub of great commercial, social, and residential dynamism.
All new and replacement children's play area projects are carried out in accordance with current regulations, using approved elements and materials to ensure the highest levels of safety in such facilities.
