The representative of the Popular Party for the province of Huelva in the Andalusian Parliament emphasized her party's intense activity during the last week of the campaign, touring the province and listening to citizens. In this context, she praised the management of the Andalusian Government in Gibraleón, highlighting its investment commitment in the province.
Among the most relevant actions, the construction of a new health center in the municipality was mentioned, a historical demand that has materialized after years of claims. The Greenway connecting Corrales, Gibraleón, and Huelva was also highlighted, with an investment close to three million euros. In the agricultural and educational fields, the Andalusian Government has allocated 11 million euros to the sector and over one million to improve educational centers, in addition to 21.3 million euros for dependency between 2022 and 2025.
“"These investments demonstrate that the presidency of the Junta cares about Huelva and particularly the municipality of Gibraleón, in contrast to a Government of Spain that disregards this province by blocking the Alcolea Dam, a strategic infrastructure."
The candidate recalled that, given the inaction of the central Government, the Junta de Andalucía took the initiative to unblock the Alcolea Dam project. However, she regretted that, when only the final signature was missing to reactivate the works, the Government of Spain decided to back down.
Furthermore, she denounced the growing insecurity in the province due to drug trafficking, demanding more resources and means from the central Government for the State Security Forces and Corps. She lamented the situation of the agents, who work at a disadvantage, and called for tougher penalties against drug trafficking networks.
