The Los Naranjos Day Center in Gádor will soon resume its activities following the award of its management to a local entrepreneur, with the goal of revitalizing the space as a social meeting point.
The Gádor City Council has announced the imminent reopening of the emblematic Los Naranjos Day Center. The management of these municipal facilities has been awarded to a local entrepreneur, who will lead a renewed project focused on transforming the center into a vibrant meeting point for residents, associations, families, and visitors.
The new concessionaire, Samirna Barón, will implement a proposal that, while maintaining its focus on the elderly, will expand its services to attract young people and families. The objective is to foster coexistence and social participation, energizing the municipality's community life.
Planned services include the management of a bar-cafeteria open to all citizens and visitors to Gádor. The concessionaire is currently designing complementary activities to promote intergenerational interaction and enrich the center's offerings.
The City Council will soon provide details on the new services and activities once the planning phase is complete. The official inauguration and operational launch of the Los Naranjos Day Center are expected in the coming weeks, following the completion of necessary facility upgrades.
Mayor Lourdes Ramos expressed her satisfaction with the recovery of this space, highlighting its potential to boost social and economic activity in Gádor. The City Council believes this award will enhance the range of services and leisure options, creating new opportunities for residents' participation.
