The program, which will run until the end of May 2027, is designed to promote the comprehensive development, culture, and social relationships of participants over 55 years old. It is offered in an in-person format and aims to reinforce lifelong learning.
The El Ejido campus, located in the 'Santo Domingo' Multi-purpose Building, has implemented its second academic program year this year, aligning its offerings with those of the Almería and Roquetas de Mar campuses. It currently has 67 students enrolled across its first and second years.
Meanwhile, the Roquetas de Mar campus (on Víctor Palomo Street) has reached 250 registrations, surpassing last year's 226 and maintaining a continuous upward trend since 2015. To meet demand and ensure teaching quality standards, a new fifth-year course has been added, allowing for specialized tracks in Humanities and Social Sciences.
The start of the academic year at the main campus in Almería has been postponed until November 16, the planned date for the resumption of in-person activities in the renovated facilities on Gerona Street.
