The alert was raised by several neighbors on Friday afternoon, who notified the authorities after hearing suspicious noises in a house that was currently unoccupied. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that entry had been gained through the patio, where they found a broken and dismantled window, as well as a forced interior door.
Once inside the property, officers located the individual, who was carrying an axe, a knife, and a screwdriver. The suspect had already searched several rooms of the house before being intercepted by the authorities.
Following the arrest, it was confirmed that the suspect had a criminal record and was wanted by a court in Granada. The Local Police highlighted the importance of citizen cooperation in preventing the completion of this crime and ensuring the perpetrator's arrest.
