The police operation, carried out by the Local Operational Group of the National Police Station of Baza, concluded with the arrest of two men and one woman, all with prior police records. The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the Court of First Instance and Instruction of Baza.
The investigation began after a local resident was identified as allegedly being involved in selling narcotics, using an electric scooter for home deliveries. This individual, aged 38, had previously been monitored for reckless driving without a license, and on several occasions, was found carrying prohibited substances and cash.
Inquiries revealed that the amounts of money he handled were inconsistent with his lack of employment. After obtaining a judicial order, his home was searched, where two other individuals, a man and a woman, were found. Their active participation in drug trafficking and public health offenses was proven. Marijuana, cocaine, and heroin were found in this residence.
During the search, officers seized over 8,300 euros in fragmented cash, two electric scooters used for drug transport, four mobile phones, a machete, an air rifle, and a surveillance camera.
Subsequently, a second search was conducted at a property linked to the arrested woman. There, a plastic bag containing marijuana buds was discovered, along with other items indicative of drug trafficking: a room set up for cannabis cultivation, planters, halogen lamps, fertilizers, packaging machines, and bags for small-scale dealing.
“"The operation has put an end to the "great social alarm and insecurity" generated by these houses dedicated to drug dealing."
