The ERACIS+ Cuevas de Baza program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus and the Regional Ministry of Inclusion, Social Services, Youth, Families and Equality of the Junta de Andalucía, has held the workshop “Your direct magnet to employment: one step further to achieve your goals”. This initiative aims to improve the skills of participants in active job searching through practical tools adapted to current labor market demands.
During the session, held at the Social Services Center, fundamental aspects were addressed to increase employment access possibilities. Among the topics covered were the development of socio-labor attitudes and skills, the creation and adaptation of resumes, searching and applying for job offers, knowledge of major employment platforms, and preparation for job interviews.
One of the most innovative blocks of the workshop was dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence as a support tool in job searching. Attendees learned about applications like ChatGPT and Canva IA for drafting and improving resumes, preparing interviews, creating cover letters, tailoring applications to specific offers, or identifying professional competencies.
Furthermore, participants conducted job interview simulations adapted to professional profiles and occupations with the highest demand in the territory, allowing them to practice real selection situations, improve their responses, and gain confidence for future hiring processes.
Through this activity, the ERACIS+ program continues to reinforce its commitment to social and labor inclusion, providing citizens with updated resources to face selection processes with greater guarantees and improve their labor insertion opportunities.
The ERACIS+ Cuevas de Baza program encourages all individuals who meet the access requirements to participate in the activities developed throughout the year. The program is aimed at people registered in the Las Cuevas neighborhood, who are unemployed and between 16 and 65 years old.
