The operation, named 'Mochuelo', resulted in the seizure of a total of 319 cannabis plants and the arrest of five individuals, four men and one woman, as alleged perpetrators of drug trafficking and electricity fraud.
In a first intervention, officers discovered a cave shed-type building housing a plantation spread across six compartments. Inside, 126 cut and stripped marijuana plants were found hanging for drying, along with various cultivation equipment such as transformers, grow lights, an air conditioning unit, fans, and other utensils.
The three individuals responsible for this plantation, all males aged between 23 and 26, were arrested. All three had prior police records.
Subsequently, in a second search of a cave house-type property, another plantation was located with 193 cannabis specimens, standing between 80 and 100 centimeters tall and in an advanced flowering stage. Similar equipment to that found in the shed was also discovered in this property.
In addition to the plants, a box containing 160 grams of chopped marijuana, 845 euros in mixed denominations, a 4.5 mm caliber air rifle, three pruning shears, a tablet, and a precision scale were seized.
The two individuals responsible for this second plantation, a 48-year-old man with prior records and a 52-year-old woman without them, were also arrested. The detainees have been brought before the court at the Civil and Penal Section of the Court of Instance of Baza Plaza number 2.
