The Public Sector Contracting Platform has published the tender notice for the works that the Baza City Council will carry out in Baleares, Valencia, Galicia, Comunidad de Aragón streets, and in the Barriada de la Paz. These actions are part of project 1: “Integral regeneration of the Barrio de las Cuevas and its connection with the rest of the city”, financed by the PAI Baza 2030. The deadline for submitting bids is September 1, 2026.
The base tender budget amounts to 1,413,821.81 euros, including VAT. The contract is divided into three lots. Lot 1, focused on the Barriada de la Paz, has a budget of 414,310.30 euros (VAT included). Lots 2 and 3, dedicated to Comunidad de Aragón street and Baleares, Valencia, and Galicia streets respectively, each have a budget of 626,723.21 euros (VAT included).
The planned interventions aim to ensure that all areas of the neighborhood have basic public services on equitable terms with the rest of the city. The infrastructure modernization will focus on three fundamental pillars: improving drinking water supply and sanitation, optimizing telecommunications, and renewing public lighting.
