The Municipal Patronage of Culture in Jaén, chaired by María Espejo, has organized a unique session this Saturday, August 29, at the Municipal Auditorium of La Alameda. The iconic silent film by Buster Keaton, Seven Chances (1925), will be screened with live musical accompaniment.
The renowned composer and pianist Jorge Gil de Zulueta will provide the live soundtrack, recreating the atmosphere of the 1920s and accompanying Keaton in one of the most memorable chase sequences in film history.
Zulueta is a leading figure in Spain for performing live music for silent films, offering a magical experience that transports the audience to the era of silent cinema.

This screening is the second to last in the 'Summer Cinema' series. The closing event will be on Sunday, August 30, with the science fiction film El final de Oak Street, directed by David Robert Mitchell and starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor.
