Those interested in participating in this cherished event can register from Monday, April 20, until April 25. Registration hours are from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Church of San Francisco.
To complete the registration process, participants must fill out a form that mandatorily includes the name of at least one responsible adult per float. This measure ensures the safety and smooth running of the procession.
Regarding logistics, the floats can be brought to the Church of San Francisco on Friday, April 24, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, or on Saturday morning, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, to facilitate organization for participants.
The procession will commence on Saturday, April 25, starting at 6:30 PM. The planned route will pass through several central streets of Antequera, beginning at Plazuela de San Zoilo and continuing along Diego Ponce, Maderuelos, Rey, Lucena, Madre de Dios, Duranes, and San Francisco, before concluding back at San Zoilo.
This event, featuring children as its main protagonists, has become a highly anticipated tradition in the city, fostering youth participation and ensuring generational continuity in Antequera's deeply rooted cofrade customs.
