Fortune has once again visited the province of Granada. The Eurojackpot draw by ONCE, held last Friday, has granted a significant prize of 342,237 euros in Alhama de Granada. This amount was awarded to a single third-category winner, whose ticket was sold in the town.
The person responsible for distributing this substantial sum is an ONCE vendor who has been in their usual sales point for approximately one year. This prize is the only third-category award distributed across all of Spain in this draw, highlighting the significance of this stroke of luck in the Granadan municipality.
“"I submitted the papers and moved forward. You see how it has changed my life, always for the better, I won the lottery without even playing."
The fortunate winner matched the five main numbers of the draw, missing the complementary numbers, known as “soles,” by just two to reach the accumulated jackpot, which on this occasion amounted to 22 million euros. The winner's identity remains unknown, although the vendor suspects it could be a regular customer, possibly an elderly person who regularly purchases ONCE products.
Following this draw, the Eurojackpot has announced that it will offer a jackpot of 28 million euros in its next draw. Additionally, ONCE is preparing the Extra Mother's Day draw, which will feature a main prize of 17 million euros, along with numerous additional prizes.
