The incident occurred minutes before 5:00 AM in a property located on the third floor of the aforementioned urbanization. Several witnesses alerted the 112 Andalucía Emergency Service upon detecting fire inside the dwelling, which activated a large emergency response.
Personnel from the Cádiz Provincial Fire Consortium were dispatched to the scene, mobilizing two trucks and an aerial ladder to extinguish the fire and secure the area. Officers from the National Police and Local Police also attended, along with paramedics from the 061 Health Emergency Center.
Medical services treated three people affected by smoke inhalation at the scene, including a minor. After the health assessment, only the 21-year-old male required hospital transfer for a more thorough evaluation and care.
For now, the causes of the fire and the extent of material damage to the property have not been determined. The rapid intervention of emergency services allowed the situation to be controlled in the early morning hours, preventing the fire from spreading to other homes in the building.
Authorities have not reported additional evacuations or structural damage to the affected building. The investigation into the origin of the fire remains open.
