Scheduled from June 24 to July 3, the festival will feature competitions in wingfoil, kiteboarding, and windsurf. Among the most anticipated participants are an eight-time world champion and a promising young local star, who will lead a group of talents including another local athlete.
Activities will kick off with the G.W.A Tarifa Wing Pro 2026, a scoring event for the Wingfoil World Cup in the Surf Freestyle discipline, taking place from June 24 to 27. In this competition, the Tarifa athlete will aim to earn significant points in the global circuit.
In addition to professional trials, the festival will host a popular event on June 27 and 28, featuring windsurf, kiteboarding, and wingfoil competitions, in both individual and team formats, encouraging community and amateur participation.
The event will conclude from June 29 to July 3 with the S.K.L & S.W.L Tarifa 2026, which will host the Spanish Kiteboarding Championship and the Spanish Wingfoil Cup. These competitions are expected to draw junior world champions and other prominent athletes.
The Tarifa Wind Festival is organized by the Club Levante Fuerte Tarifa and the Spain Kiteboarding Association, with institutional support from the Tarifa City Council and the Cádiz Provincial Council, ensuring the necessary infrastructure and backing for an event of this scale.
