Organized by Apron in collaboration with the Sports Delegation of San Roque City Council, this race has become a traditional event that goes beyond sports, also promoting coexistence among participants. The Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) sponsors the event.
The 7.5-kilometer route will start at Alameda San Pedro and end in Guadarranque, with refreshment points along the way. At the conclusion of the race, there will be an awards ceremony, raffles, and a paella for all attendees.
Registrations, costing seven euros, can be made through the dorsalchip.com platform until May 3. Participation is open to both adults and children over 12 years old, and each registrant will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
“"This 7.5-kilometer race can be done by children over 12 and adults, and the important thing is to participate and collaborate with Apron."
The organization expects to exceed 400 participants this year, after recording a constant increase in previous editions: 230 registered in 2023, 283 in 2024, and 330 in 2025. This increase in participation is crucial for the association to obtain more resources and continue its work.
The president of Apron, along with municipal representatives, has expressed gratitude for the support and willingness of the institutions in organizing this activity. Bib numbers will be distributed on May 8 at the Puente Mayorga Mayor's Office and on May 10 from 9:00 AM, where there will also be a solidarity bar.
