The marina in San Roque will host the activity starting at 10:00 AM, as part of the 'Travesía Sin Límites' program. The goal is to offer an adapted nautical baptism, allowing APROPADIS 2.0 users to integrate as crew members and actively participate in sailing under accessibility criteria.
APROPADIS 2.0, a non-profit entity founded in 2013 and active in the Campo de Gibraltar, works to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities through training, technology, and leisure. This day aligns with its mission to foster the participation of this group in various social spaces.
The initiative by Fundación Navega aims to bring sailing closer to people with disabilities and groups facing barriers to accessing such activities. The project is based in Puerto Sotogrande and is designed for participants to experience sailing firsthand, integrating into the boat's dynamics with adapted support and safety measures.
The event is supported by Puerto Sotogrande and sponsored by the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) through its 2026 sponsorship call. The San Roque City Council also collaborates.
