Members of the 100x100 Unidos party have toured the Algeciras market and the El Rinconcillo neighborhood. During these visits, they engaged directly with residents to understand their concerns and gather ideas for improving the quality of life in the area. This initiative aligns with the party's strategy of proximity and seeking solutions to everyday problems.
Following the market visit, the delegation moved to El Torrejón municipal park in El Rinconcillo. There, alongside representatives from neighborhood associations, they observed the area's condition and enjoyed its privileged setting, overlooking the Palmones Marshes.
“"Citizens are concerned because we cannot afford to lose one of our most emblematic beaches."
A local spokesperson for the party expressed residents' concern about the situation of El Rinconcillo beach. They noted that the recent announcement of a 20,000 cubic meter sand transfer is insufficient, recalling that previous technical reports indicated a need for at least 25,000 cubic meters. They also highlighted that the problem is exacerbated by accumulated deficits from previous years.
The party is developing its electoral program for 2027, which will include proposals to strengthen natural areas like El Rinconcillo. The mayor of La Línea, who accompanied the team, emphasized the importance of listening to residents and finding real solutions by engaging with competent administrations.
The mayor stated that the party is approaching the pre-campaign for the Andalusian elections with determination, confident in securing representation in the Andalusian Parliament. He praised the local group's work in developing concrete proposals for the upcoming municipal elections, advocating for comprehensive and realistic solutions for the various neighborhoods of Algeciras.
