The event, officially presented, is part of the national federated circuit IBP Tenis Pro 2026 (IBP 1000 category). Competitions will be held at the Ciudad Deportiva tennis courts.
The tournament will feature a prize scale including 1,000 euros for the champion, 500 for the runner-up, 250 for the semi-finalists, and 125 euros for the quarter-finalists.
The mayor, Juan Franco, highlighted the importance of hosting this event, which consolidates the city as a sporting benchmark, and thanked the collaboration of the Andalusian Tennis Federation and the Provincial Council of Cádiz.
Jorge Fernández Castrejón, Federation delegate in Cádiz, emphasized the quality of the facilities and the goal of surpassing the participation of the first edition, where six players achieved national rankings.
The delegate councilor for Sports, Alejandro Rodríguez, stressed that the event positions La Línea as an important venue in this sport and noted the increase in prize money compared to previous years.
Registrations are open until Thursday, September 3rd, through the IBP Tenis PRO Circuit platform, requiring profiles on ISQUAD and the circuit's platform.
