This new road infrastructure improvement plan will be carried out on streets in both the city center and all neighborhoods, addressing historical resident demands. The total investment planned for this project is 3.5 million euros.
The mayor of the city, Juan Franco, has confirmed that the project is already drafted and is currently under review. The administrative process is expected to conclude during September, with the possibility of awarding the project before the end of the year. The goal is for the work to begin in the first quarter of next year, 2027.
The mayor emphasized the importance of continuing these works, given the need to address the deteriorating condition of various streets in the municipality. Since 2016, seven paving plans have been executed, allowing work on half a million square meters.
