The event, organized by the Don Príncipe Boxing Club, which recently relocated its headquarters to Campamento, will include at least twelve Olympic boxing amateur bouts, several finals from the Andalusian Championship, and two professional fights. This event is poised to be one of the most significant sporting occasions of the summer in the Campo de Gibraltar region.
Among the confirmed amateur bouts are several matchups in elite and youth categories, such as Ismail Khamchach versus Jaime Torres in the -63 kg class, and Manuel Cervera against Bruno Barbatti in the -69 kg class.
A major attraction will be the Andalusian Championship finals. Young Sofía Suárez will compete in the Youth -52 kg final, while Cristóbal González will fight for the Elite Initiates -80 kg title.
Algeciras's own Irene Bolaños Mini Hummer, a member of the Spanish national team and a multiple-time Spanish champion, will make her local debut in the junior category against Carmen Marín.
In the professional section, two high-level bouts are expected. One could be a rematch between national fighter Álvaro Grizzly Ortiz and Britain's Deepack Jr..
The main event will see Gibraltarian idol Tyrone Buttigieg El Bombero face the experienced Tanzanian champion Julias Thomas Kisarawe. Buttigieg, the WBC International and undisputed Commonwealth Super Bantamweight champion, aims to continue his winning streak following his victory in March.
Organizers anticipate a strong turnout from the public, solidifying this gala as a regular fixture on the regional sports calendar.
