The third update from the Junta de Andalucía confirms significantly higher mobilization in the region compared to the 2022 elections. The current turnout represents an increase of 7.69 percentage points compared to the figure recorded at the same hour in the previous election (34.84%).
This general increase is particularly pronounced in municipalities such as La Línea de la Concepción and Tesorillo, where turnout growth has been notably strong. Castellar de la Frontera is another highlighted municipality, already surpassing 50% turnout before polling stations close.
In detail, Algeciras reports a 45.17% turnout (compared to 38.65% in 2022), with 42,117 voters. San Roque reaches 47.10% (39.88% in 2022), Los Barrios 45.91% (40.54% in 2022), and Tarifa also 45.91% (38.30% in 2022).
Other towns such as Jimena de la Frontera show a 46.65% turnout (41.96% in 2022), Castellar de la Frontera 50.23% (43.62% in 2022), and Tesorillo 48.13% (39.61% in 2022).
